September 2015 Employee of the Month

David Hensley has been with the City for 26 years.  David started as a Utility Clerk in 1989 and was then promoted to a Meter Reader position in 1991.  By 1993, David was promoted to the Service Tech Supervisor position, which is now considered the Utility Field Technician II. Prior to working for the City, David served four years in the United States Marine Corps.

David enjoys everything about his job; he enjoys working outside within the City and having the freedom to run in and out all day long and get his job done the way he needs to.

David has a fiancé and three grown Children ages 25, 24 and 18.  In his free time, David enjoys golfing and watching football.  Congratulations David, we’re glad you’re able to enjoy this honor of being employee of the month for September 2015.
